The ONLY melee weapon (at the moment) that hunters have PRIORITY on (NOT the only one they can get) is the Destroyer of the Worlds from ZG. Grow up.Ĭomment by AllakhazamEvery guild has it's own policies, and the people that raid with them know it, so arguing here is rather useless, however, this is how we do it. If I am going on a raid with my quild I switch to my set that provides me with primary Stamina, Intellect, spirit and + Heals.Īny guild that can actually obtain this would immediately ban the person that started spamming guild chat or their forums with the type of comments I see listed here. If I am in a PvP mood, I equip my armor that is primary Stamina / Agility, and secondary Intellect / Strength. I am a level 60 enhancement / restoration shaman, and I use two completely different sets of armor depending on what I am doing that night. When you spend 10, 15, 20 hours a week raiding instances, no one is going to say "you can't roll on this because it has " Did any of the hunters or shamans that wanted it complain? No, and all had merit for wanting it. The one time I saw it drop, I went up to BO5 & the bid went all the way to BO7. Now, unless an item is class specific ANY class that has merit to roll for it can. When you have enough DKP saved up to bid on this item, you can bid for your roll & watch your bid go up as peole call BO3, BO5, BO7 etc. Let me explain how it works in guilds that actually have enough competent lvl 60's to actually raid BWL & MC & Onyxia weekly. That explains 75% of the posts I see on this site on the Shaman vs Hunter vs Warrior posts that only want to whine and moan about who this is for. What I am saying is that Hunters should be given equal priority to them, with the possible exception of the Brutality Blade if the guild in question isn't in BWL yet, since that clearly is the best Rogue sword before BWL.Ĭomment by ThottbotWell it appears the average age on Thott is roughly 13. I'm also not saying that the Brutality Blade and Dragonfang Blade are Hunter only. I'd find that perfectly acceptable if I was Horde, but I'm not so I don't have to worry about it ) I can appreciate that Shammies might want to bid on the Doom's Edge or Dragonfang Blade. If we're talking end game instances, the following should interest you:Ĭhromatically Tempered Sword (Chromaggus) Rogues: You also have better choices available than both the Brutality Blade and the Dragonfang Blade. If not, Spineshatter from Razorgore or the Bloodlords Defender from Mandokir in ZG would be fine choices. And prot specced warriors in BWL should have Quel. Claw of the Black Drake, Hakkari Warblades set from ZG for Fury spec. The Untamed Blade, Draconic Avenger (buffed next patch), Spinal Reaper for Arms spec. Warriors: You have better weapons in all circumstances available in BWL and MC. I'd opt for the Dagger, though the Axe does look awesome. Whether you go for the Dragonfang or Doom's Edge is totally down to whether you prefer Stamina or Strength. Yes ok we don't melee much but it is necessary from time to time. Now, the absolute best Dual Wield combination:īrutality Blade and Dragonfang Blade/Doom's Edge, with +15 agility enchants.ĪND better melee ability. Take a look.Ģx Dawn's Edge with +15 Agility enchants = Clearly clueless Hunters, and forum trolls write this flagrant bull%^&*. If your guild killed Onyxia Deathbringer would be better, but Frostbite is pretty solid and cool until you are in MC/Onyxia with your guild.Comment by ThottbotI see people go on and on about how 2x Dawn's Edge owns any combination a Hunter can use. Hunters and Rogues should get prio on this weapon, fury warriors should go for another weapon like (Frostbite) (Horde) Same stats but a mace if you are alliance. And of course if you can get the offhand it's a very big +++. If you are not in MC the Warblade of Hakkari is a very nice main hand. For rogues it's pretty nice but I would prefer Brutality blade in main hand because the stats are a bit better, and so is the DPS. For a fury DW warrior it is a bit slow for a Main hand, if you are a fury warrior you should try to get the off hand from the set, and (Deathbringer) that's a very nice combo imo. This is surely a great MH for a hunterĢ8 AP = +/- 28 agility for a hunter, And the 1 % crit is pretty nice as well. I got both a 60 warrior and hunter and a rogue as well. Comentado por 7343It depends on your ability's to play.
